The Royal Crescent is the finest Georgian crescent in the city. It is world-famous and gives fantastic views of Royal Victoria Park. Hot air balloons frequently fly from the park. A balloon flight over Bath is an unforgettable experience. Several pictures on this site were taken on such a flight. From the air it becomes apparent that the architects John Wood the Elder and Younger has a sense of humour when you realise that the Royal Crescent and the Circus combine to form a question mark. |

Stonehenge Widcome Cars can take you on a memorable day trip to Stonehenge which is an inspiring sight. Archeologists are still unsure of its purpose, although it is believed to have been used for several religious ceremonies as well as being an amazingly accurate calendar for astronomical events. The site dates from around 3000BC when bluestones weighing up to 50 tons each were hauled from the Preseli Mountains in South-West Wales to form the famous stone circle. |

Castle Combe Tours of the Cotswolds are available, including the picturesque village of Castle Combe, which has frequently been voted 'The Prettiest Village in England'. The houses in the village are hundreds of years old and of a classic Cotswold build, constructed in stone with thick walls and roofs made from split natural stone tiles. Nearby there are many sites of historical interest such as Avebury, Stonehenge and the Wiltshire White Horses which we can include in your personalised tour. |
